Dr Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall





Changing of guard ceremony is conducted every hour. These guards are just like our NSF, serving their nation as an conscripted arm forces personnel. A chat with a local in Ximending, i understand that in Taiwan, every abled-body male of 18 year old and above are required to serve an obligatory 1 year as full time personnel(compared to 2 years in Singapore), and reservist up to the age of 35(compared to 45 in Singapore).
